Assures Obstruction-Free, Seamless Full-Bore Flow Of Material
ONS Engineering creates a powerful valve that can function where conventional valves can’t. Certified for tens of thousands of cycles in permitted applications between inspections
Pneumatic-Disc Valve are high-pressure, power-operated valves that have the unusual capability of opening and closing with a pressure-tight seal.
They have a special inflatable sealing system that gives them greater control and increases safety. Additionally, Pneumatic-Disc Valve provide great performance and have a return of more than one million maintenance-free cycles regardless of the application—abrasive, poisonous, friable, or hazardous.
They can stop moving and satiric columns of ash, cement, coal, and powder with a particle size of up to 40 mm. Either the eccentric dome shape or an inflated seal is used to create a pressure-tight seal that stops leaks. When in the closed position, they offer a pressure-tight seal against the dome surface. Because the sealing action only occurs at the very end of closing, there is no wear and tear between the dome and the seal
One of the major benefits of a Pneumatic-Disc Valve with an inflatable seat is that it provides a full bore opening, ensuring that there is no blockage to the material’s passage.
It is also capable of handling materials with a maximum temperature of 350 °C. This was accomplished by applying a special water-cooling technique to both the elastomer housing and the spherical component.
Whether the seat is opening or shutting, it does not make contact with the closing member, reducing the chance of wear. Additionally, only when the inflatable seat is in its closed configuration is it engaged with the closing member.
